The Education & Development program is one that is unique to Chambers of Commerce. It provides a significant addition to our list of benefits available to our members. Grants are awarded on a quarterly basis to the Business owner or his/her employees for coursework or skills training that has been successfully completed and pertains to the job that the applicant is currently employed to perform.

This is an employer-matched program and may cover 50% of the cost of the course up to the maximum of $500 per employee per quarter with a maximum of $1,000 in grants per company per calendar year. (these amounts may be subject to change upon annual review by the Committee).

Applications may be downloaded here or obtained on the Chamber office and should be submitted prior to the due date as indicated on the application. There is no guarantee of receiving a grant as each application is subject to the Committee’s final decision.

All Chamber members—regardless of occupation who are seeking any type of job-related continuing education or skills training are encouraged to submit an application.”
